In one month today I will be eighteen years old. -disgruntled face-

I’ve not been feeling very well today. I get ill very often, actually. :/ Not like proper germs or whatever ill, but just feeling all groggy and sickish for what is apparently no reason at all. Then again, my lifestyle isn’t exactly the healthiest so maybe that’s it. Blegh.

On a brighter note, last night ((while watching Red Dawrf. Woowoop.)) I found this website. It’s a writing tool that I believe is mostly used to boost your word count during Nanowrimo, but it’s like the best thing ever. I wrote a thousand words in only twenty minutes thanks to this thing, a thousand words of utter tripe, but that hardly matters, does it? That’s what editing is for, I say.

Speaking of which, I have started to write a story. It’s one I’ve had in my head for over a year but I recently got inspired to actually type it up thanks to a combination of one of my internet buddies writing her own book, and the realisation that my future is going to be filled with poverty ((okay, maybe not poverty, but… y’know… general poorness.)) if I don’t start to do something now. Even if it’s just something to write on my university application considering all I’ve got to talk about as it is is limited work experience and basic HTML knowledge. Yeah.

So, I would tell you more about this story… but I fear right now that I would be mocked, considering it’s not exactly the most serious piece of literature that ever existed. I’m going for teen ficton, but I’m hoping I’d be more in J.K’s ranks ((HA. In my dreams. Not gonna happen.)) than Smeyer’s. My method is currently “write and to hell with the quality”,  so I want to finish it and get it all spruced up and edited before I share it with you. Pom diddelly pom. Only forty seven thousand more words to write. Give or take.
